Emily's Visit

Emily knows how to LIVE IN THE MOMENT.  As you can see, she is an exceptionally beautiful woman.  She is one of the Samsung Wives Club.  In Austin, she lived in the apartment above mine for almost two years.  I was not there as long as she was, but I always made sure I visited with her when I went to Austin.  She is back in Korea now with her husband, her new baby boy, her two daughters and a full time job.  She brought her two girls with her this morning and we spent the day together.  By the end of the day, we had eaten pizza, viewed a chrysanthemum festival at the temple, bought hand dyed fabrics and paper lanterns, had tea in a Chinese tea store, had another Italian meal and played a round of pool.  It was quite a day.

Judy is the younger daughter.  She speaks very good English but needs some prodding to do so.  She is a total clown.  Kindergarten is keeping her busy these days.

Julia is ten now and she was determined not to smile for a picture.  She is way too cool for that.  But finally I got her to crack.  She speaks excellent English.  Both the girls call me Grandma.

I gave Judy these red boots back in Austin.  They are finally her size and she likes to wear them all the time.  I think she is an excellent example of a cowgirl.

We started out for the temple.  Judy led the way.

Jogyesa Temple is the head temple of Korea.

The whole Temple grounds were covered with very fragrant chrysanthemums.
Mostly in gold and purple shades.
